As you know with any new forum, there is always a bit of a learning curve while we try to tweak the viewing expierence to make it the best it can possibly be for you. To that end we have introduced some changes, listed below.

We have decided that in an effort to streamline the board and make viewing all topics easier that we would reduce and combine a number of forums that we started off with. If it becomes necessary in the future we will re-add them.

But here's what we've done, and we hope you guys like it!

Walleye and Esox Combined
Wildlife, Conservation, and DEP Discussion have all been moved to one category
The Reviews section has been combined with the Bait & Tackle Section
Hunting has been moved to "Non Fishing Discussion"
General Topics has been moved to non fishing
The State Records have been moved to our record books section.
the add your 5 words story has been moved to the humor section and the writers topic has been removed.

All in all, we have streamlined the forum making it simpler, and hopefully easier to use!

If you guys (and ladies!) have any suggestions for further improvements, please let us know!

Streamlined and easy is the name of the game over here at CTFT and we hope you enjoy!

I think the changes are good,..
I'm on another national forum,..and it has so many sections and sub-sections that it makes viewing difficult and you are always having to search for stuff because it's like every post has it's own niche category.

Personally, I think it's better to have even fewer! I think that you should just have:
1) Bass fishing
2) Freshwater fishing (other than bass)
3) Saltwater
4) Fly fishing

......and I wouldn't even seperate the fishing reports from the general discussions. What's the sense anyway? Anyone that's interested in the bass fishing reports, is also going to be interested in seeing the discussions about the bass tips and techniques & tackle as well! Etc. etc. etc. for the other types of fishing.

IMO, it just makes it easier to see everything that you're interested in, in one place ratehr than having to go to a different category,...and makes it less likely that you miss anything! Just my $.02

Thanks for the input! I would like to get some feedback from other members as well... What do you guys and gals think???

Do you think we should combine reports and general discussion?
