8/22 Great day at Quonipaug

Woohoo! I had my best day at quonni in several years! I took the afternoon off on vacation and hit the water right around 1PM. Dark and overcast with an on and off light breeze. My first fish came on a shakey worm and was about 8",.....that was the last time I touched the shakey worm on that day! :P :roll:
The rest of the day I fished jigs and swimbaits. When I packed it in at about 630 I had boated 14 bass total and only a couple were less than 2 lbs. Here's the pics of the best ones,..one of them is 4lbs even and the others are 3 and change!! :D

Nice stuff mark! Anything on that bico jig? Im sure you know the hole over near one of those fish thats loaded with trout- always pick up a good largie somewhere around that hole.

I tried your jig Nick,..it's okay but I'm actually into heavier weights. Most of the time I'm throwing 1-ounce jigs nowadays!! :wink:
