Left the Kayak home today & fished from the banks in the rain 7am-12. Trying out some new poppers I tied up, the smallmouths were co-operating . I didn't expect much due to the cold front but the fish that were caught actually felt warm. Since I was there last week, the water level has dropped about 10 ft.........the ramp was open & one guy was there launching a small boat.
