great afternoon on LILLI!

i woke up this morning and knew i would fish after work! RAIN OR NO RAIN I WAS GOING!!! - after deciding that the signs we had to do could not be done in the rain IT WAS DECIDED work Saturday AM and leave work today at 2 to go fish!!! we were on lili by 3 and it was raining just little BUT IT WAS CALM AND FLAT and NO-one else to be seen the rest of the day! - i started throwing poppers and my son was after pike with spinnerbaits! and wackys for bass -- caught all the bass we could handle A wide variety of sizes including some BIGGINS! -- lost a decent pike BUT after the heat to be on the water catching fish in 61 degrees was a TREAT no matter what we caught!!!!! :wink:
