Penfield Reef 7/21
Message:
Just got back from the reef for the second day in a row. Fished from 6:30pm-9pm. Low tide was 7:02pm. Fishing was tough as there was a strong wind and it was choppy making casting very difficult. Yesterday I was into the bluefish, today they weren't around and neither were the sea robins, but I did manage to wrangle up my first striper since early June! A nice 20" fat striper that was eating real good. Caught with same minnow plugs as yesterday(Rapala Flat Rap) . So a slow, hard, wet night of fishing with one nice perk.

Were you there that day with a kid? If so, you passed me while you were walking out to the end.
