Twin Brooks Park

Hit Twin Brooks Saturday from 3:30pm til 7:40pm. Worked a number of spots.
First stop was the main cove at the main pond. Saw a few largemouths lurking near the shore and tried throwing a number of lures. Some they'd carefully follow and others they'd pay no attention to.
I decided to downsize while I was still there by throwing a small white maribu. That got their attention but they'd hardly hit. Bluegills were going crazy for it and missed out on 2 largemouths. Had 1 explosion on a Pop-R.
Kept on moving on to other locations.
When I got to the spot that caught me the 2 pound 4 ounce largemouth, I saw 4 cruising just under the surface but they wouldn't hit anything. Had a pickerel follow a Tiny Torpedo many times and had it hit once but took the lure out of its mouth.
Had no luck in some deeper weedy areas with the CNC-53 and JSR-4.
Made 1 more stop with the Pop-R at the main cove as it got later. Had 1 small blow up and had a largemouth come up to try and suck it but missed.
I had a feeling that with the strong frontal system we just had and a new high pressure over the Gulf of Maine, the fish weren't gonna be too hungry and were gonna be kinda sluggish.
