a pumpkinseed...

Went to Bigelow this evening and all I caught was a pumpkinseed...didn't see any activity on top of the water at all. Water was still as glass and a bit on the cool side.

I have got to get up to that place again SOON!
Im waiting on my order from Mister Twister and then its gonna be ultralight grub fishing for a month straight! I just cannot fish from shore at Bigelow anymore - way too shallow in most parts....except from some of the picnic bench parking spots right when you first enter the big long driveway - some very good evening topwater explosions in the much down there

there's quite a few spots from shore at bigelow. Right when you turn in is one, the first "picnic" area.... the launch area... I fish to the right in the cove... I wade in about knee deep or from the wooden deck. The second picnic area, that's the big one.... it drops deep there quick.... also, if you go to the right of the launch area you walk out onto the penninsula and the far side is deep and weed free. Of course it would be better from a boat!
