A Good Day at Work vs Today

Headed out in that heat and humidity to Twin Brooks Park Friday afternoon. Arrived at my first stop around 4pm. With the time I spent at Twin Brooks Park, I had finally had it by 6pm. I was wet from the heat and humidity, got stuck on trees many times, no fish on, couldn't find any worms in a few digging areas, and more. The only 2 lures that had fish interested were a perch F-7 and glass minnow HJ-6. The only fish interested were sunnies and 1 crappie. Most sunnies never did any pecking at the lures and the crappie would follow the HJ-6 before saying "forget about it". Before hitting Glenwood Park, made a few casts with worms on the bottom at the confluence of the Pequonnock River and Bunnells Pond but never got a single piece taken off of the hook.
