Well I lost the two biggest bass of my life today. It was just bad luck too. The first one slammed a Texas rigged senko and was easily 6 pounds. It was massive and was sitting in about a foot of water. I set the hook hard and the fish didn't budge port just thrashed frantically in the water for a bit then spit the hook as if to say ''not today!''. I want even mad I just let down and empty. Like a little boy who just got his bike stollen. I keep at the fishing and ended up nailing a few up to 3 pounds. I have a picture but I'm to lazy to upload. I fished into the night catching another 2 pounder and some more smalls. Then as my dad called me to come home and eat I get a tap on my baby brush hog that I was dragging slowly on the bottom. I set the hook and feel the sheer mass of this fish. Its thrashing hard in the shallow water then all the sudden I see it leap in the air and spit the hook. It was massive and made a huge splash. This was all within 5 feet of me too. It was too dark to anticipate the jump so the darkness killed me. My luck literally sucks...can't stand it.

Well dude, to say the obvious, "that's why it's called fishing, not catching" LOL. I hate that phrase, but it's true. Just go back and keep trying, you now know they're in there. Good night out no matter what.
