drove around today....

... I went to Eagleville pond Dam... looks great for kayakers and ppl with small boats. Unfortunately the areas for shore fishing are very limited... lots of weed growth right near the shore.. stayed for about 15 minutes... left and went to Coventry lake...what a nice lake.... lots of people water skiing, jet skiing... the dock by the boat launch goes out pretty far... spent about a half hour or so there, had a nice big yellow perch follow my white mr twister grub but no bites... kept driving around and ended up at foothill pond at tallwood golf course... casted from the entrance area with my white mr twister grub and immediately caught a couple of small bass and the other strange fish, a white bass maybe? I lost my mr twister jig on the bottom of something and I only had my utility box so no swivels... I tied on my firetiger rapala ssr 3/16 oz and went over to the rocks and caught a couple of bass, a couple of those other fish and a very small yellow perch. On my way back to the car I stopped by the entrance again and climbed on the cement water entrance, caught a really nice yellow perch.
That fish that I catch there, kind of white, silvery, and strangely it bleeds from the lips... I've never noticed a bass bleeding from the lips... I'll have to google white bass maybe.
That was my day. Not bad, not bad at all.

Got the same thing here at Beseck. I'm thinking white perch, but gonna google it myself. Been getting a few on big spinnerbaits here, even got one last night on my 3/4 ounce pike spinnerbait. Crazy.

Well found out we have white perch here. Only one black lateral line, white bass have stripes like a small striper. Kinda look alike though.
