Trolling for fluke???
Message:
My brother in law is visiting from Michigan so we took him and his friend and his friends son out. We were snapping wire for stripers and my brother in law says I think I have something, doesn't really feel like a fish, maybe a clump of kelp. Pulled it in and it was a 22" fluke! On a parachute! I marked the spot and we filleted the belly off it for bait and set up for fluking. Got a couple of shorts and another keeper 21-1/2" before we lost the tide. Nice day out there, and I have another spot for fluking.

About 10 years ago I was trolling an umbrella rig right on the bottom with a downrigger and got a 12 lb fluke. If I could only do that on purpose I'd be a fisherman.
