"1996" evinrude 48 special fuel problem
Message:
My Evinrude is sucking the primer bulb flat and cuts the engine out. I have replaced the fuel line and bulb, all of the fittings' and installed a new gas tank. And yes the valve on the new tank works. Does anybody have a clue what the problem is?

not to be insulting but sometimes its the dumb stuff we over look is the directtion of flow on fuel line correct?
try loosening gas cap to double check breather cap is supplying enough air flow
