Fisherman's Blister
Message:
How many of you have heard of a fisherman's blister? How many of you have it from casting with and holding onto the rod with the same area of the same finger so often?
With me reeling with the left and casting with the right, the inner side of my right middle fish along the middle knuckle is where I have my fisherman's blister. That's the prime spot to be getting lots of rubbing from where the reel is attached to the rod.

I tend to suffer from bass thumb more than the blister :wink:

I wear a finger guard on my index if I'm out casting big plugs or tins with a heavy surf rod. After a long morning or evening, that braid will do a number on the index finger, especially if your hands are always wet.
