Private Lakes 10/3

Wednesday I headed up to the usual private lake I hit. Got there around 3pm and fished it for about an hour. Lures I played around with included brown trout Jointed J-7, bleeding pearl Jointed Shad Rap JSR-4, moss back shiner X-Rap Shad Shallow XRSHSS-6, helsinki shad Clakin Crank CNC-53, and perch Jointed Shad Rap JSR-4. Hit a total of 3 bluegills and 2 yellows. All gills were bulls and the 2 yellows were keepers. Once things quieted down, I went to another private lake that I usually start hitting this time of the year. Lure I stuck with was the bleeding pearl JSR-4. Lost 3 largemouths and had a number of hits. Last was a quick trip to Twin Brooks but didn't do too much fishing. Headed for Glenwood Park around 5pm.
