Great Hollow Lake 10/4

Member mikeyinstfd (Mike) and I hit Great Hollow Lake after fishing an area of the Pequonnock. We saw trout jumping out there like Harvey and I did but they wouldn't hit anything. We made our way from the rocks by the entrance to Fisherman's Cove by going the long way. Mike stuck with a Berkley Trout Worm on 1 rod and threw a few lures on another. He lost a trout on the worm at 1 spot and a bass at another on a Rapala Crankin Rap CRR-3. Later he decided to play with bluegills since he wasn't into much. Lures I threw mostly were the brown trout Flat Rap FLR-6, glass minnow Husky Jerk HJ-6, bleeding pearl Jointed Shad Rap JSR-4, and brown trout Original Floater F-7. Tried a few other lures for not too long. Landed 2 largemouths around 12" both on the JSR-4. From the way it was going, Mike and I had finally had it by 1pm.
