Not there This Time

After hitting the private lake, I went to the Pequonnock at Glenwood Park to get into those schoolies again.
I wasn't there for too long because after throwing my 3 best HJ-6, I never had a hit or even saw a flash in the water.
Black crowned night herons were feeding on what seemed to be baby blue backs coming down river and sliding down the old cement dam.
I'm thinking now that we had our first frost/freeze of the fall, the small schoolies have decided to head back down into the Sound.
