Bunnells Pond 10/25
Message:
After fishing the Pequonnock part of Beardsley Park, I headed down to Bunnells Pond. Started off at the rocks. Lures I played with included the trusty silver shad Jointed Shad Rap JSR-4, pearl grey shiner Clackin Crank CNC-53, yellow perch X-Rap Shad Shallow XRSH-6, original pearl shad Flat Rap FLR-8, and shiner Shallow Shad Rap SSR-7. Ended up catching a 10" largemouth at the rocks with the JSR-4 and then moved over to the old wall facing up the Pequonnock. Stuck with the JSR-4 which produced 2 small bluegills. Threw a worm out there on the bottom and had 2 hits with 1 of them producing a 7" yellow. Went back over to the rocks with the JSR-4 and caught a chubby 12" 1 pound largemouth. Went to the area where I caught the 4.8 pounder and caught a 10" largemouth. Just before 5pm I decided to head over to the Wonderland of Ice.
