Need a cold few days.
Message:
Alot of nearby ponds that get to about 15 feet deep freeze over every night and some hold about 1-1 1/2in of skim ice during the day. All we need is a few days that stay about mid 30's when the suns in the sky and we will have fishable ice. Not too safe, but fishable ice for those craving to ice fish :D !!!

Temps is 1 thing but what about the possibility of precipitation, esp with this new storm system coming?

Im thinking it will help actually. It will melt that final crappy ice we have made over these warmish days so we can start fresh. This wednesday looks like when the real ice will start forming and after that, the temperature stays mid 30's and below.
