Old Timers Trick for Crappies

Hi, While checking my archives I found this Old Timers Trick for Crappies ! Get a clear glass jar with screw-on cap (Put holes in cap). Add water -. Some lively small minnows -> put on cap -> Lower on strong string to depth you think Crappies are at. The minnows will give off scent and attract the Crappies which will go crazy trying to get at them! If fishing at night -> add a couple of chenical light sticks to jar with minnows to also attract the Crappies!
