My brother and I hit clinton saturday morning with the idea of going to SW Ledge. As we pulled out of the harbor we were met by some very nice 5 foot rollers. We decided to tuck in behind the jetty and drift in about 40 feet of water. We were not in our typicak spot but we caught a nice set of fish. A bunch of Sea Bass 19 shorts and 7 keepers the largest fish being 3 pounds. We officially have Sea Bass stocked in the freezer almost 12 lbs wrapped and stacked. Also we caught a bunch of porgies no monsters but 25 keepers alnog with 50 or 60 throw backs. 3 Stripers boated all keepers but we realesed all fish. These fish must have been snapped out of the same 30 inch mold. They all looked like triplets. Last but not least we caught a bunch of those other fish that like to shred and ruin rigs.Damn them ,we are lazy and hate to re-tie our gear that often.
