7 day Temps and Wx

Hi, Well since I've laid-up with this terrible cold I check with my friend at the NWC in Washington, DC. We're definitely going into a Mid-January Thaw period here in Southern New England. Day time temps will be above 32 F with most days in the mid to upper 40's. This Friday ...Rain is expected with 60% porbability ! Night temps will hover at or just above 32 degrees the next 7 days Temps ...Day and Night won't drop below 32 F till starting next Thursday. If your thinking of going ice fishing this weekend -> CHECK ICE THICKNESS EVERY FEW FEET :!: Stay Safe ! SeaDog1

Sounds more like an early March pattern when you start seeing things totally change. I'd say trout, herring, and striper fishing would be the way to go this weekend.
