Saturday 3 ponds

My brother in law and I went "Pond Hopping" because the wind was a blowing!! We figured the smaller the water the less open space. So we hit a small pond which ended up being very productive. We managed 39 fish, 20 for him and 19 for me. All largies and all cookie cutters between 1-2 lbs. We did manage a couple in the 2-3 range along with a 4+ which rounded out the trip. All fish were caught on soft plastics (texas rigged) and jigs/pigs. We went to another small pond (without a sniff) I'll never go back to that toliet (guilford lakes)!!! :evil: Then we hit another lake X and I managed another 3 largies..all small using the same approach. So, I edged out the victory 22-20 overall. It was a good day to be out on the water. Peace out!!

nice, i believe there was a Bill Dance special called pond hopping on sunday :D Sometimes, small ponds can hold some lunkers. There is one pond by my wifes shore house that is loaded with lmb. I will fish there for an hour and catch fish ever other cast. The first time I fished there I didn't think I would catch anything but was pleasantly surprised.
