Ct native comin home to fish

Hi i live in johnstown pa i was born and raised in torrington ct i moved yo pa 13 years ago been fishing 35 yrs mostly fished the naugy both branches east and west of course the broodstock program starts after i move down here now i fish lake erie tribs for steelhead approx 60 days per year .
I really want to fish for atlantics on my old stomping grounds but all my friends either no longer fish or moved from torrington comin up late oct can anyone help me as to flies rod wt 6 etc or i would really like to fish with someone like me who grew up on the naugy i am really pumped to fish her again especially with the chance to tangle with salmo salar something we do not have in erie need a break from steelhead monotony really; hope to hear from someone soon heck i may even know one of you. thanks norm :lol:

Welcome aboard,
There are a few of us from the NW Corner of the state on here, but sadly no one who fly fishes. Marc (CTFishTalk) and I spend a lot of time spin fishing on the Housatonic up in our neck of the woods (Canaan, Falls Village, Cornwall, Kent) and we'd be happy to meet up at some point! I know that FishingKik is trying to get into fly rodding too. Again, welcome to the boards and let us know if there's anything we can do to make your stay more pleasant.
