Mashapaug walleye

Drove up to Union today. Cold and windy. 10" of good ice. Fishing was slow but managed 2 walleye(17" and 19") from the same hole, and in 9' of water. Flags started popping at 6:30PM, off the ice at 10.

I caught a couple of dozen walleye in open water at Batterson Park Pond last year and got only one keeper. :cry: This year will be a different story, though! :wink: How much ice did you find?
