Coventry Lake

Not much of a fishing report here. I brought my dad to Coventry Lake - he wanted to try fishing it. Had four tip ups with shiners and jigged with various lures with spikes. Not so much as a single tap all day. There were a few other groups of anglers and I didn't see any tip up action from any of them - the groups were spread out and were covering an area away from yesterday's fishing derby location. One guy reported catching a short Walleye and two other guys had some yellow perch. Just one of those days. Wind was whipping pretty bad at some points in the day. Not much snow cover, most of it blew away.
