Live next to hamlin so I'm hittin' it till the storm kicks me off-I'll be in my iceshack bolted into the cove. Place is good for big pickerel: they seem to hit solid during snow. Hope to be able to fish the ct river coves sun after cleanout. To the ice!

That's the pond right next to rt 72. I pass that going to and from work, I fished it once during the summer but not much access from the shore. Hope you catch something, just be careful in the blizzard!

Set up the iceshack in front of the condo's to the right of the launch. no flags-3+"ice until about 50 yds. out then gets down to 2". After about 45 min. of no flags the group of about five guys who were in the cove leading to the river left-no ice shelter-cold sustained wind: I unbolted the shack -me+ my brother walked it over to the cove-started getting flags-I pulled up a 20" pickerel-my brother a 15" and a bass just over 12". Storm; sustained wind+ice in your face-but warm&windless in the iceshack when it's bolted in. Won't be fishin' hamlin again till @ least next weekend-too thin w/ all the snow.
