What will all this snow do to the ice?
Message:
We have at leasts 6" up to 9" on most of our waters out west here. Anybody know if the snow will insulate or harm the ice? Missed that day in science class.

Try 20-30 inches in the NW corner.!
And 30-40 inches a bit further south !
And that's not counting drifts.
I'm snowed in here in Winsted with 2-3 feet of snow, and my friend (1 mile away) at Highland Lake called and indicted a minimum of 2-3 feet on his shore-side street !
And more storms + snow coming  ....
