East Twin 2/16
Message:
Even though the tournament was cancelled, I had my heart set on fishing East Twin today. Very windy, and SLOW for Twin. Missed a large Brown at the hole, caught a 15" Brown and a few perch. Tons of wind flags. Fished 4' to 40' of water. Solid 8" black ice where I fish. Slush layer only occured near shore where we fished shallow. Further out we went, the better the condition of the ice.

snow is almost non existant on the ice. Most was wind blown off the ice, or froze in with the slush. Only snow really was near shore, that's on the side accessed by Between The Lakes Road.
