Spinnerbaits

Next preseason discussion is spinnerbaits. For those of you who use spinnerbaits, what colors do you have the most success with and when ie clear water, stained water, time of year. Also do you have more success burning them just under the surface or deeper with a retrieve and pause method. How many of you that fish them use a trailer hook and if you use one or don't explain why. Hope we can get some more great info from and input.

Im likeing white and black for colors and the Colorado blades seem to be beating the hell out of my willow blade so much so ive bought several more for this year.
