Walleye

Hi, I'm new to this site and this is my first question that I am posting, I'm a bass guy always have been but since last year when I accidentally caught my first walleye I've been trying to learn more about it, my question is where is a good place in the ct river to start looking and what time of year is best. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks

I've caught only one walleye in the Connecticut River, just downriver from the Vibert Road boat launch ramp in South Windsor. Other than that, I don't know for sure, but I plan to check the deep hole on the downriver side of the wing dam that's less than 1/4 mile upriver from the ramp later this Summer.
