Handy site with lake depths and weed maps
Message:
Thought I'd share I site I found useful when fishing and boating:
http://ct.gov/CAES/cwp/view.asp?a=2799&q=376974
While for the purpose of tracking invasive weeds, it also has good information on a number of lakes in Connecticut, including bathymetric (depth) information and info on weeds observed, which might help fish weed lines and what not.
Just click on the lake (if available) and then click the "Maps" link.

Those are pretty handy maps, but its a little alarming when you realize that they're just tracking "Invasive Species"
Do the lakes a favor, stop putting fertilizer on yer lawns! :P
