CT River Jonboat/Small Boat areas
Message:
Hey all, Haven't posted here in a while, looking forward to the bite picking up. I've fished the CT river many times from a friends 20' triton and know access that way. But . . . I personally have a 12' sea nymph v-hull that I throw an electric trolling motor on, or can throw a smaller hp engine on ( ~5-10). Are there any areas I could launch from with it? I can fit it in the back of the truck and go that way, so it doesn't have to be a boat launch. I was thinking of trying to get in some of the cove's with it and thought I could probably get into some. Can't say I'd be looking to hit the main river with a boat that size, again just the coves I'm thinking. Any thoughts welcome, thanks!

you can put it in right at the discharge in Hartford and fish the cove right there! you could launch at the salmon river launch and go up into the cove! There are tons of places you could go with that boat!
