Headed out to the private lake again Wednesday and arrived around 4pm. First spot I lost a largemouth on a silver shad Jointed Shallow Shad Rap JSSR-7. Also had a yellow perch do that quick shaking on a Clackin Crank CNC-53. No other signs of life at the first spot and threw a number of other lures. Went to the spot that caught me the 4 pounder. Lures I played with were the JSR-4, JSSR-7, XRSH-6, and shad Shad Rap RS SRRS-4. Never had any hits. Also tried bouncing a 1" crayfish rigged with a 1/8oz hot pink jighead but not a tap. Hit the road at 6:12pm. The wind seemed to be the player today. NW winds were steady 5 to 10 mph with an occasional 12 to 16 mph gust. When I felt one of the lures I was using today, seemed like the water temp went down 1 or 2 degrees.
