Rocky neck state park

Hey guys, I'm looking for some info or experience with rocky neck. A friend of mine at work told me he purchased some sort of fishing permit/camping permit that allowed him to stay at the beach after dark and fish it. I was just wondering if it is true and if anyone here has ever done it. What the costs are and what the rules would be. I'm still learning a lot about fishing but this sounds like a fun weekend trip to me. Beach by day, fish by night. Any info?

The Milford Audubon has the same rules. You can stay after dark as long as you have a parking permit which also gives you a copy of the key to the gate.
