Weekend report

Friday: Paddled moodus res with 2 friends and BassWarrior. Slow day Caught 1 dinky bass and a pickerel and one of my friends got a huge crappie and a small bass. Fished 330-730 In 1-4FOW. I used a black/gold husky jerk and my friend used a tennessee shad colored husky jerk
Saturday: Went to Babcock from 4-6 caught one tiny pickerel and a keeper bass on a black/gold husky jerk
Sunday (Easter): Went out to an unnamed pond in Colchester, its a pretty sweet place but getting there is a bit of a hassle. First cast land a keeper LMB with a black and gold husky jerk. 2 hours pass and my friend meets me out there and lands a pickerel on a swimbait. After he leaves I tie on a jig since nothing else was hitting the husky jerk and within less than an hour boated 3 keeper largemouth the second being around 2 lbs. All of them were near the windblown shore of a beaver dam hitting it pretty aggressively. Lost a big one I estimated at over 5, it broke my 10lb mono leader which made me tie my braid straight to the jig, which I usually do except for when im fishing Jerk baits
