First trip of the year!(plus second trip 04/14)

Hey guys I finally got out there on the open water for the first time of the year on sunday. I went to one of my favorite local spots with my 2 person boat. We fished from around 2 until 5:30ish. It was pretty cold and windy. Started out with a jerkbait and had zero interest in that. I switched to a small jig and after while I got my first hit of the day. It was the only fish me or my partner got all day. It turned out to be a pretty decent first fish of the year at 4lb 7oz and 19in long. It had a pretty fat belly. All and all it was nice to get my new boat wet!
