naugatuck river Campville section
Message:
Went fly fishing today for a few hours.I hit the section at the end opposite of the exit 40 ramp bridge.There were already 8 cars there at the bridge
Where i went i was the only one when i arrived.
I noticed brown stone flies falling like snow onto the water.So, I matched the hatch and ended up with 8 bows and lost about 4 others.
Apparently,the trout were hitting almost everything according to a couple of others that i spoke with.
When i walked back to my truck there were 7 cars now and about 10 people fishing where i had first started.
The water was cool but,low and clear.
Get out there! Trophy trout section....catch and release only. Single hook lure or fly with no additional weight.....blah, blah, blah
