anybody thats out chunking the river or slinging live shiners have and catfish on the hook yet? im looking to finally get out for a little hog hunting but im thinking the water is still to cold

i got a 6 pounder in haddam with a whole sandworm fished off the bottom, while going fro stripers also a bunch of dinks 10-12''
