Where was the sun?! It was a bit chilly, windy and overcast Went out anyway. I wasn't getting any action it seemed today. I tried the chanteuse pepper minnow, Berkeley pumpkin worm, X Rap, and shad rap. Nothing what so ever. I moved down to the third clearing along the train tracks. The wind was picking up and the clouds seemed darker. Tied a a Flat Rap in a brown trout pattern. Slow pause and retrieve was the trick along the shore line and got the big hit. It was a STRONG fish! 14" 1.5lb LMB... Which sadly is my PB! Lol it was all worth it.
