Wethersfield Cove 4/17
Message:
It was a beautiful afternoon when i was leaving work so i decided to throw my kayak in the back of my truck and take it over to the Wethersfield cove.
The water was SO high that regular boats werent able to launch meaning i had the whole place to myself for a while. I got on the water by 4:30pm and even though the air temperature was nice and warm the water was still pretty chilly as i walked my kayak into the water.
Started out on the north side just past the channel that runs under the bridge and heads out to the river.
Threw some rapala cranks (CNC-53 in silver, BX minnow in gold, and JSR-05 in perch) along with a couple different colored senkos (wacky rigged). Didnt have any luck though...
Before i left there were two other kayaks on the water and one canoe with two people in it. I talked to the kayakers when we paddled in and they didnt have any luck yesterday either.
All in all it was a great day to be on the water.
