First day out
Message:
Hi,
Went yesterday to the upper part of Colebrook Res. with my friend Steve (Head chef at Saybrook Fish House) at 9:40 AM.
Things started off very slow.
We threw spoons and drifted meal worms, with Steve hooking 2 small Browns.
Moved 3 times and then we found a honey hole.
All afternoon it was one fish after another.
We each kept our 5 biggest fish (Mostly Browns) and released all others -> None gut or throat hooked.
Steve and I finished up at 4:45 PM -> He took some fish to his relatives and I gave 3 of my fish to another friend who's 80 year old father loves fish.
Nice to see the big smile on the old man's face ! thumbup
Baked the other 2 last night with butter and lemon for me and the wife ! [img:4a1a7fd686]http://www.ctfishtalk.com/gallery2.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=16459[/img:4a1a7fd686]
