educate my on the pros and cons of the Evinrude fisherman

so per my older thread i informed you all that i had a 2cyl, 6hp long shaft kicker motor, i posted it on craigslist for trade and i got an offer for a straight trade for a 65 evinrude 5.5hp fisherman short shaft, what are the pros and cons of this motor? he also says its a 24:1 mix where as the place i got my 6hp from told me my 6hp was a 50:1

48 years is a long time on a outboard ...just make sure the water pump and carb rebuild kits are still avalable
