Brian Kershal Memorial Tourney

Worked the Brian Kershal Memorial Tourney today. Bluebird sky's and no wind. Arrived at 4:30am to set up. Launched 53 boats with 102 participants. With a 8 Fish Per Boat Limit the winning bag produced at 30.9 Pounds. Lunker was a Large Mouth at 5.9 pounds. Numerous bags in the 17 pound range with a surprising number of bags below 12 pounds. Many anglers who pre fished the lake on Saturday stated they did well only to find a difficult bite today. Most said the Jerk Bait Bite died and small jigs with trailers produced the biggest bags. The photo of the two fish were caught on Pumpkin Jigs with trailers on a 1/4-1/2 oz football head jig fished off rocky cliffs with a slow retrieve. I think I need to reset the time and date in my camera.
