Twin lakes advice

Ok, thanks to a suggestion on another thread -I'm headed up to twin lakes tomorrow and renting a boat. I hear there are good bass and trout here - and I love fishing for both. Any tips on techniques or baits to use for either of these? I'm from SC and used to fishing with a Texas rigged plastic worm in the shallows around structure during the spawn. I have no idea what to expect when I head up to twin. Thanks!

Are you talking about East Twin Lakes in Salisbury? I tried to find boat rental info on line... couldn't... do you know of a phone number or website? Thanks in advance for any info.
