Dollar value of tacklebox... now $15 less...
stopped very briefly yesterday and did a bit of fishing in ashley falls again. I got one small smallie on a yum dinger in 4" flavor.
decided to tack on the luckycraft, the lure that i'm deathly afraid to use because... well, it was $15. Throw it out, first cat WHAM...STOP... immediately know its a pike and i'm just screwed because i've got an ultralight with 4 pound mono and no freakin steel leader on. Sure enough, I get the pike about five feet off shore and he realizes what's going on.. flip...*snap*... gone...
i'll never buy another LC lure again, I mean, I LOVED the action, the bouyancy, etc. etc. amazing, but $15 bucks at the rate i lose lures in the river? no WAY.

Ouch,..tough luck there sevn!
Try a rapala,..they are fine baits for a lot less! :wink:
