Striper in the Housy

The Hearing are thick. I was gonna hit Candlewood or Lilly today but the weather forecast kinda changed that. I was up at five and at the boat at 5:15am. Started backing the truck to the trailer when little droplets started hitting the window. With the accuracy of weatherman and a forecast of no rain till 11:00am I decided to hit the Housy/Naugy from shore for river smallies. Got there at 7:30am. The Hearing are so thick I was snagging them with a Rooster Tail. Stripers were blowing the water up everywhere under the Rte 34 Bridge in the Naugy. Gave up on that spot. The tidal ponds have so many hearing in them at low tide the water was boiling. So I ran back home retrieved the surfcaster and a Bone Spook and went to town. Caught about 15 over two hours. Close to keepers but not quite. While I was there I drove to the dam. The keeper were being had on both sides of the river about every ten minutes. Very few fisherman there but they were having a field day. The really sad part of the day was at the Derby launch. Idiots threw a dozen schoolie's on shore to rot and die. And Striper Fisherman wonder where the bad rap comes from. I here that Peco!!!! Something like that and they should ban them from ever getting another fishing licence and fine the crap out of them! Total BS!!!!!
