Housy skunk
Message:
Fished the Housy for a few hours last night on the incoming tide. Started at the dam, but not enough flowing water. No way in hell I was going to walk along the base of the dam or wade out to the middle. So, I went to O'Sullivan's Island near the Naugy/Housy merger. Conditions looked perfect - light fog, incoming tide, rain earlier in the day. Nada, nothing, zippo, nyet. No hits, no strikes, no bumps. Moved upstream after a bit to the Housy side of the island and same result.

I'm with you with not wanting to walk along the base of the dam. Catching a striper just isn't worth the risk.
The skunk at O'sullivans seems all too common for me. What have you been using ?
