I am sitting here bored at work. What are the 5 largest fish you have ever caught. Each fish being of a different species. Also which fish has the best story behind it.
Smallest to largest
5. 37lb Common Snook
4. 42lb Striper
3. 90lb Tarpon
2. 225lb Mako ( countless blue sharks in this range but they don`t count)
1. 396lb Thresher
The Thresher was the most memorable for me because my brother (Quint`s Revenge) and I ended up winning the Snug Harbor shark tournament in 99".

My biggest freshwater fish that i remember the best was my largemouth that weighed somewhere between 7-8lbs (my scale fluctuated between the two pounds) and i was sitting on a fallen tree out 20 feet from shore with some friends. When i casted i thought it was a bad cast so i brought the yum crawfish in really fast so it was skipping on the water over weeds and the fish jumped in the air and it felt like a ton of bricks on my line. The fish swam way into the weeds and wrapped around a tree branch and when i got him out i had to walk from the tree to shore and lip the bass because the net was with a buddy farther down the shore. This is the best and only picture i have of the fish. [img:1af1d9a36b]http://i.imgur.com/EAt2bf2.jpg[/img:1af1d9a36b]

The biggest fish I ever caught was a 44 3/8" striper that had to be at least 20 pounds. It was caught at Cutty Hunk Island, MA and won me part of a tournament.
Have caught 3 other stripers in the 10 to 13 pound range.
Biggest bluefish I ever caught was 32" 10 pounds.
Only other fish close to those is my PB 8 pounds 1 ounce largemouth.
