Thompsonville\ enfield boat launch

Decided to fish the boat launch area from shore in enfield since i didn't feel like taking out the boat. got the big skunk. I was throwing small top water plugs and different rapalas and didn't get one bite, bump, thump, or hit. I didn't even snag a rock for that matter. I have been out twice in that area...maybe all the fish were gone. I was out on the boat last Thursday and there were carp jumping ll over the place, that's pretty scary when your in a boat alone...in the dark.. :shock:

That's my local spot which is very slow. A guygot a 40". On a plug the other day. I only fish it at night with bait but some fish do get caught there. If your bored try the rocky point there for smallmouth there's always a few out there

I go there maybe once a week because its close to Ma border and I don't feel like driving very far since I get out of work at 8. I have caught some small mouth there. A few years ago it use to be great for cat fishing but recently it's been completely dead.
