Small Pond 5/26

After getting home and relaxing from fishing Remington, I decided to head up to Unity Park after hearing word about a final spring stocking getting done last week. Water was stained on the Pequonnock and running. Tried casting the brown trout X-Rap XR-4 but no signs of fish. Decided to fish the small pond there by throwing a perch Rebel Pop-R. Ended up catching a total of 5 largemouths no bigger than a pound and 3 pickerel no bigger than 10". They were aggressive for their size! Next stop was the pond at the funeral home. Lure I played with there was the XR-4. Caught a total of 1 crappie, 2 small bluegills, and 3 dinky bass. The crappie was 7". Headed down to Beardsley Park around 3:30pm.
